— Our practices —

Journey’s End Farm is a small family farm offering a diverse selection of ecologically grown vegetables, flowers, and herbs. All of the produce we sell is grown on-site without the use of pesticides or chemicals, and with the intention of nurturing the soil and ecology of the land. We are not certified organic, but we follow organic principles and are committed to regenerative agricultural practices. The vegetables that we offer are raised from seed and are grown out in plots all over the farm. We prepare beds with a small walk-behind tractor and cultivate primarily with hand tools. We improve and balance our soil with farm-made compost and certified organic amendments. With succession planting and intensive management, we're proud of how much produce we grow on just one acre of cultivated land.

— Where to find us in 2024 —

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), Saturdays (June-September)
Vegetable share pick-up at the farm in Sterling, Pennsylvania. CSA members pay in full at the beginning of the season and receive a weekly pre-packed box of fresh, seasonal produce. Avoid the market crowds and decision making, and enjoy a variety of delicious vegetables each week. These boxes are “farmer’s choice” — they are not customizable — they change and grow with season. For more information, check out our CSA page

The Hawley Farmers Market, Fridays 2-5 PM (June-October)
Find our stand at the Hawley Farmers Market in Bingham Park on Fridays afternoons. We love setting up a beautiful selection of our favorite vegetables and herbs. Chat with us about trying a new variety of violet streaked eggplant, flat-podded Roma beans, or pale green Lebanese zucchini. Discuss how to prepare that “odd looking root” you’ve never tried before. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

The Wayne County Farmers Market, Saturdays 9:30AM-12:30PM (June-October)
Find our stand in Honesdale in front of Dave’s Super Duper grocery store on Saturday mornings. We now set up a similar assortment of beautiful vegetalbes at a second location! This market is a little mellower than Hawley, with shorter lines. In addition to vegetables, we also sell seedlings in the spring. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

The Main Street Farmers Market, Saturdays 11AM-1PM (November-April)
Find us in Honesdale at the Cooperage Project on Saturdays mornings in the “off-season.” This wonderful little market runs indoors through the entire winter. We bring maple syrup, and a smaller selection of vegetables and eggs. We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

Farm Stand, new for 2024
We hope to open a small self-service stand at our farm in Sterling, PA, stocked with maple syrup, free-range eggs, our own beef, and a selection of vegetables. Check back for more details in the weeks to come!
