We invite campers to learn to love and respect the animals and plants they care for, the other children and adults they share space with and the woods and streams that surround them.  Children are encouraged to be curious, be themselves, get dirty, get wet, clean up, pick up after themselves and be good to each other.  We introduce them to skills and concepts that will increase their self-reliance and enable them to live more responsibly.

Our program emphasizes cooperation, creativity, simplicity and environmental awareness.  We rely as much as possible on our own resources and strive to produce “Zero Waste”. We include campers in thoughtful conversation about environmental responsibility, cooperation and community, and inspire them to form a relationship with nature. Our program is based in Quaker values, but includes no religious instruction.  We welcome campers of all races, genders, nationalities, faiths and economic levels.
